Rockdashzero here,
This is my first blog ever so do bare with me. I'm not much of a writer, more like a creator, but I'd like to use this blog to not only provide bi-weekly updates on my comic, but to help and influence others to take that leap and step into the unknown so they try to make comics as well. I'm not rich and famous I work a fulltime job that I enjoy, but I have this itch to constantly create until my head explodes.
So I have been working on Gnat Journey to Coa for about 4 years now. Through that time I have grown so much as an artist that I am actually starting to get excited to make new issues and begin drawing again, but it wasn't always like that. I usually have this feeling of dread before I undertake a project. Like my work isn't worthy, good enough, or I'll ruin the project by being in it. So what do I do? I become stubborn! I start it anyways not caring what people think, and put pencil to paper. Why do that? because the alternative is to make nothing. to absorb others work and passion and that drives me nuts! I usually get those uneasy feelings every time I start a page too. You can work past it, you can do it!
